Pegher Jr., have been hard at working during this off-season
getting prepared for what looks to be a very busy 2012 season
in both the Fastrak Crate Late Model and the Super Late Model.
Pegher is going to use the 2012 season as a building block to
eventually climbing in the famous Geisler Racing, Cochran
Automotive sponsored #1C Super Late Model, made famous by Dirt
Late Model Hall of Fame member Lynn Geisler, on a full time

The Geisler Racing Team and Crate Late Model standout Mike
Pegher Jr., have taken advantage of their 30th Anniversary
with sponsor #1 Cochran Automotive by posting some
unbelievable statistics throughout the season.Statistics aren’t much of anything if you don’t reach
the goals a race team sets for themselves though and this past
weekend, in Bulls Gap, TN and Volunteer Speedway, Pegher Jr.,
accomplished one of those goals by capturing the $30,000,
FASTRAK Grand Nationals with his win at Dog Hollow Speedway on
Saturday, October 1 and third and fourth place finishes at
Volunteer.
Statistically, Mike’s season has been phenomenal while
competing in both Crate and Super Late Models.
In 35 Crate starts,
Pegher has posted an astounding 30 top ten finishes with 23 of
them being in the top five.Add in Mike’s 12 wins, the $30,000 FASTRAK Grand
Nationals Championship and numerous other accomplishments the
team has had in 2011 and it becomes a season that any race
team would like to have.In 11 Super Late Model starts Mike has three top ten
finishes, 2 top fives, and one win coming at PPMS back in May. MORE
